The big old Tour & Taxis building from the 1800's is named after the German Thurn & Tassis family, who in the 1500 started the 1st international postal service in Brussels and inventors of taxi service. The building was a depot and train station for goods during the industrial time and became disused after. I got revamped in its former glory and is now used for expo's, trade fairs and festivals. Behind the building, every year the Couleur Cafė festival takes place, but which has now become a quite commercial pop festival. You can walk all around, on the backside you can easily walk into the Parckfarm park. On the side you still have the big hangars, one of them still serving as a true circus school, worth a peek!

A hold train station, with its huge red brick walls and wrought iron structure. Nowaday, a group of offices, event venues and night clubs.

Tour & Taxis is a large formerly industrial site. The site is composed of large warehouses and offices surrounding a former train station and its spacious central hall. The buildings on the site are made of brick, glass and wrought iron, examples of the quality of 19th-century architecture. Though it was long disused following its loss of importance as a shipping and customs hub, the site has now been partially restored, and is now used for large cultural events.
