The Park Island recreational area includes walking tracks, sports grounds; Napier's hockey stadium, football fields including the home ground of the Napier City Rovers, rugby fields and clubrooms of the Napier Old Boys Marist Rugby Club. These sporting facilities host a myriad of events and tournaments over the course of the year and are all an easy 5 minute drive from Taku Moe.
