Westcliff has the infamous stairs for a great outdoor workout, they're located in Saxon-world near the Johannesburg Zoo. The stairs are a great way to start your Saturdays or weekdays in the morning. Great views, fresh air and their really therapeutic.

Neighbourhood walkways (there are several flights in the area) that are a great informal outdoor gym, always busy in the morning

For the energetic, a walk up the Westcliff Stairs is a must. The views over Johannesburg from the top are fantastic.
