Historic Gruene was raised from the ashes in the early 1970's. It is an art and music scene with some great shoppertunities!

Gruene boasts the oldest Dance Hall in Texas, Gruene Hall, and is such a fun place to visit. There is country western music playing most nights and usually all day Saturday and Sunday. The Gristmill is a delightful open air restaurant in an historic mill from days gone by.
