A stunning city to visit. With great shopping (Westgate Centre), amazing museums and the Oxford University buildings to visit as well (where they filmed a lot of Harry Potter!)

Very close to London by train, you can go to Oxford for the day. Visit the colleges and drink in the oldest coffee shop in Oxford.

Oxford is a brilliant city to visit for theatres, galleries, shopping, restaurants and, of course, the many picturesque and historic university colleges.

Oxford is a city which was built on a ford of the River Thames. It is famous for its university which is based on a colegiate system...ie 30+ independent colleges all affliated to the University. Buildings date from the 13th Century. It is a short walk from Woodman Court over the river at Magdalen Bridge past the Botanical Gardens and Magdalen College down the High Street fronted by many of the oldest colleges.
