The Guardino's have been on Alberta Street since artists made the neighborhood hip. Their space hosts four galleries and myriad artists and each room is worth a stop. My favorite is Vitrified studios where local ceramicists work while you shop.

Contemporary gallery - best curator in the city. I've bought a few kitschy ceramics here (my turquoise sea anemone). Great rotating artists like Anna Magruder, Denise Krueger.
