This is a fish shop - BUT they have a great take away counter with freshly made fish cakes and really good fish and chips that is half the price of what they charge at the ´tourist fish market´just across the street. Recommended is the deepfried fish fritters, steamed cod cakes with chives, and they have great Baccaloa and a classic local comfort food dish of cod and mashed potatoe is called Plukk Fisk. Also a great place to buy any seafood products to take home with you.

🇬🇧 Best fish shop in town, in my opinion. It is located in the same premises as the good delicatessen Kvamme kolonial og fetevare and as Café Bergen. In the same premises is also the sushi restaurant Sushimi. 🇳🇴 Nytt navn: Strandkaien Fisk og Fetevare. Beste fiskebutikken i byn, mener jeg. Den ligger i samme lokale som den gode delikatessen butikken Kvamme kolonial og fetevare og som Kafeen Café Bergen. I samme lokale ligger også sushi restauranten Sushimi. Adress: Strandkaien 6.
