Casares is one of the lovely white villages that are typical in this region ("los pueblos blancos") . It's 40-45 minutes drive from Marbella , the road in the mountains is beautiful.

One of the prettiest white villages of Andalucia. Walk through the narrow streets and up to the castle and church on the hilltop to see buzzards flying some days.

Casares is a beautiful little mountain village built into the rockface with magnificent views. Was frequented by Julius Ceasar in Roman times. A must see....
