Glasgow Green is a park in the east end of Glasgow, Scotland, on the north bank of the River Clyde. Established in the 15th century, it is the oldest park in the city. Famously, in 1765, the Green was the site of a historic inspiration: The inventor James Watt was strolling across it when he hit upon the idea of the separate condenser for the steam engine. This invention is credited by some as having sparked the Industrial Revolution.

Very big park along the river Clyde. In it's centre there are winter gardens and People's Palace (museum covering Glasgow's social history). Very close is a brewpub West, worth visiting.

Historic city centre park with major events (e.g. music festivals, Bonfire night, countdowns) being held there every now and then. Also take a detour to visit the People's Palace to learn how Glaswegians lived since the Victorian times.
