Clarkdale is 20 miles away and hosts a mining museum and mining tours. The Verde Canyon Railroad is great way to see the Verde River Canyon and its wildlife

This is one of our "go to" activities when we have out of town guests. Twice we have reserved the caboose for our adult children's birthday celebrations. The hosts on the trip are so knowledgeable about the area and the scenery is really beautiful.
