This is on our National seashore for a self guided tour of the old fort. Langdon Beach, camp grounds and two private beaches on the gulf side.

This national park (paid entry) has a historic fort as well as a campground, hiking trails, and miles of pristine beaches. If you’re looking to get away from crowds, this can be a great place to go!

At the tip of Santa Rosa Island lies an old Civil War fort at the mouth of the Pensacola Bay Pass. Fun to walk around and see the remains of the fort and the beautiful views of the pass and it's emerald green waters.

Historic civil war fort with unique hiking trails and more exclusive beach access. It is a really good time exploring the inside of the fort and the other spots (cannons, towers) throughout the park. I have noticed there are usually better sandbars here. In the distance you can see Alabama to the west and NAS Pensacola and lighthouse to the north.

The fort is fun to explore and the beaches are quieter than the public beaches. It is further out, and costs is $25 per vehicle.
