What's a neighborhood without a go-to gelato place? This gelateria, open since the mid 1860's, has been a staple for many either visiting or living in Rome. The value for the exchange of gelato is well worth the trip to Esquilino. Unlike many gelaterias, Palazzo del Freddo has plenty of seating for everyone.

Without any doubt the best italian ice cream in Rome! They have been making ice cream since 1880. Best flavors to try: pistachio and cream.

The oldest icecream of Rome. It's a huge place and it's beautiful they have on show all the old machineries to make ice cream. It's nice to visit only
