there are lots of smaller galleries in east london with interesting new, young artists. this is one! not always open so check online.

Interesting modern art shows if you can persuade the grumpy curators to open the door for you. There are 3 other galleries in this street and one just around the corner on Cambridge Heath Road, so if you time it right it makes for worthwhile trip

Art gallery - used to be Wolfgang Tillmans main gallery - his studio used to just around the corner. Check their website for up and coming openings!

Great contemporary art gallery. Herald Street has a few well regarded commercial galleries.
