Between the Cherokee district and Soulard is Benton Park. Benton Park offers THE BEST pretzels in St. Louis. It’s is also home to the huge, multi block world headquarters of Anheuser Busch brewery. There are several small restaurants and one of the few places in the world it’s legal to park on an overpass to grab a bite to eat. (Don’t park just anywhere, you’ll know the spot when you see it ;) )

Very close, small park, very beautiful, lots of ducks, geese, and really nice tennis courts!!

Benton Park is a gorgeous neighborhood and the park itself has two ponds, a nice walking trail, playground and tennis court + they host free concerts and film screenings in warm months.
