A very small cafe/bar with really friendly staff and customers a good mix of young and not so young! Don't miss buskers' night every Wednesday evening. nice breakfasts and the cafe is dog friendly.

Never fail to have a great night at this place. Intimate and atmospheric music venue. Always interesting bands and solo artists. Delicious food ... it’s the best place in Tynemouth for a relaxed catch up with friends and you always get a warm welcome. Very dog friendly too .. they get lots of cuddles and biscuits! Breakfast and lunch menu. Local Coffee. Local Real ales. Dogs welcome. Children welcome. Live Music every week.

If you like live music in a relaxed setting the Surf cafe is a great option with different acts every week, if its sold out (which it often is!) or you don't fancy the walk down try Head of Steam or the Priory Pub for Live music every weekend.

Newly renovated and reopened with a new menu. This is my favorite spot. Relaxed, friendly and quirky... Highly recommend the Po' boy sandwich
