It’s based in the fabulous Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso, which recently underwent an impressive update. This place is history and elegance, the birthplace of Cuban ballet. Buy tickets as soon as they go on sale, on Tuesdays. Try for a seat at the center, where you can best hear the orchestra see the dancers' expressions.

This theatre is a must see! Do a tour in the day and go see it at night! If you tour while renovations are going on you'll get to see how some parts are repaired or replicated. It stands out magnificently demanding eyes.
