Our favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon is to pack a blanket and bike over to the farmer's market for lunch. The tacos at the Cherubs stand are amazing. We also love the kale burger and fried cinnamon and sugar donuts (among other delicious options)!

Our favorite pie and biscuit shop, Bang Bang is a must stop before jumping on the train to head downtown. If you have a car you can park for free on California, grab breakfast then walk 5mins to the blue line. Bang Bang is also very accessible from The 606 trail. Grab a Divvy bike by our house, jump on the trail, then dock it right near the shop. They have a wonderful pie garden patio for a very pleasant dining experience.
