It also has full sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress. It accommodates 4 people.The kitchen is fully equipped.There is a washer and dryer. We are located 1.5 miles from Southwest Harbor, 15+ minutes from the Bar Harbor and Entrance to Acadia National Park,and a few minutes from the Park on this side.

The NEST is located in a small community on the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park. This beautiful, light filled, fully equipped apartment is available year round for guests. With it's own private entrance and sliding door to an east facing 2nd story deck, it has views of the mountains and clear night skies. Located on a small "farmette". This unique place has a style all its own. It’s an open concept studio for two on the “quietside” of Mount Desert Island. This cozy, newly constructed nook is the perfect place to rest your head after exploring all our island has to offer! Note, there is no oven or cooktop. Your kitchenette will provide a sink, refrigerator, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Your studio is the downstairs to the owners apartment, both with their own entrance and shares a driveway with my other rental.

You will have a front row seat to spectacular morning sunrises over the harbor, the comings and goings of the fishermen and the many boats docked at the marina and anchored in the harbor. This spacious four bedroom, two and a half bath home is located at the Great Harbor Marina just half a mile from downtown Southwest Harbor. Walk to restaurants, art galleries, specialty shops and more.

Our location is beautiful and quiet, surrounded by woods. Apt is on the 2nd level; it offers privacy: your own driveway, entrance and deck. It feels secluded. 2024: new deck and heat pump (air conditioning, no humidity!)

On Island Time - Southwest Harbor - Acadia

This spacious 2 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment has all the amenities of home and is located right in the heart of Southwest Harbor! Walk out the door to many wonderful restaurants, galleries and shopping. We are a short walk to the harbor and marina. Across the street is the stop for Island Explorer bus with free seasonal transportation to all over the island and Acadia National Park. The apartment rents Friday to Friday during July & August. Parking available for 1 vehicle.
