Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Our large deck overlooks a mature garden stretching to walking tracks around the lake edge, across the water from award winning Lake House; the Central Springs area and Boathouse Cafe just a few meters away.

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

We are located in town, a short distance from Victoria Park and just a few minutes walk to beautiful Lake Daylesford, a good stroll in to the centre for shopping and food. The barn is positioned back on the property overlooking trees giving it a wonderful secluded feel. Please be aware that Foletti's Barn is not set up or safe for children or infants.
