Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Large trees and wildlife abound in the backyard and can be viewed through the bedroom windows or from the brand new back porch. Inside, the tiny home has a modern yet rustic feel. You will find everything you need, and your host lives on the property and is just a text away.

A rustic industrial style Lake Keowee lakefront escape that places you right on a panoramic point in a private cove. Welcome the outdoors in with the 6ft kitchen hinge bar window to the upper deck or enjoy the 6-seat hot tub on lower deck. Deep water dock tie off space is available. Guests enjoy the use of 2 standup paddle boards, and lakeside fire pit (guest provide firewood). Great cove sunsets! 15 minutes to Clemson and 1 min Lighthouse Restaurant. It's in a little fenced-in area w/ yard, grill and firepit. Less than a mile to downtown, or the Arts District. Coffee, food, grocery, and parks all close by.

Conveniently located in North Asheville, it’s less than ten minutes from downtown, within walking distance to UNCA and central to many breweries and restaurants.
