The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minute walk from the cottage.

Occupying one story of a midcentury modern home, the 900 sq ft apartment provides outstanding views of the Sound, Olympic Mountains, magnificent sunsets, and sea life. Accommodations include a living/dining area, spacious master bedroom, sea view terrace with covered patio, KITCHENETTE (NOT A FULL KITCHEN), plus an additional guest room and access to the waterfront bulkhead area (NO BEACH ACCESS).

Our lovely cottage is conveniently located off of the road that runs from the North end of the island to the South. It features 100-plus feet of private, accessible tidal beach waiting to be combed, where gulls chase off bald eagles as a blue heron wades quietly at the water's edge. This newly renovated, light and airy cottage is an enchanting, home away from home.
