J’aime la Mer offers up to 2 guests (no children under 7 years) the opportunity to stay right on the beach in Paternoster. This ideally situated free standing cottage offers the best views of endless beaches. Not even a road in front of the cottage. There may be building activity taking place across the road to the back of the cottage. Back up batteries during power failures for lights, TV, Wi-Fi. Crayfish abalone not allowed on the premises. Come & relax in your paired back retreat located in a tranquil fishing village on the west coast of SA. Enjoy some rest with no load shedding worries, solar panels will keep everything (apart from oven & underfloor heating) running at all times of the day. Feel at home in an original dirt road cul-de-sac, safely snuggled in-between friendly neighbours. Only 25 minutes drive from Paternoster to the North, Langebaan to the South & just a 250m walk along green belt to serene, rocky shoreline.

Zula Beach Cottage - Solar & we love dogs

NO LOADSHEDDING! 15 kilowatts of solar which is shared with the main house. Zula is a small self contained, studio style beach cottage sleeping 2, on the beach. Perfect for doggy lovers as it has a private enclosed garden, set at the back of Zula Beach House which sleeps 10. Hi speed WiFi. A gas BBQ and a fireplace for the cold winters. on Langstrand Beach, away from the hustle and bustle. It is popular with surfers, kite and windsurfers. A pet fee applies. No children under 16.

Grysklip High Mountain Stone Cottage, Cederberg

This grey-stone cottage is built against a rock face which is a dramatic back wall for the interior. All the stone used for the walls was collected nearby, so the cottage disappears into the landscape. The views are spectacular in every direction. The interior is cosy with wooden floors and Cape furniture and Himalayan textiles. There are two 3/4 beds. The bathroom has a shower set against the rock-face, and there is a wonderful double outdoor bath.

The Red House

Red House is a rustic cottage located in the village of Koringberg. Surrounded by wheat and animal farms, you can expect all the perks that come with a stay in the country side - Mozzies and flies can be annoying sometimes but you will also enjoy the silence, the stargaze, the beautiful colours of the farmland and the biggest swimming pool in the area! Our house is not perfect but we love it to bits and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Fever Tree Cottage

Fever Tree Cottage is a secluded one bedroom garden cottage on a private property in Riebeeck Kasteel, a mere 50 meters from the town centre. The main property is on a dirt road, overlooks a farm dam and magnificent mountain views. The cottage is private, quiet and set in a lovely tranquil bird-filled garden. It is so close to town, that you can walk anywhere. Retreat to the quiet garden cottage after a day of shopping, eating and exploring.

Guests can enjoy the "farm" lifestyle in a beautifully designed cottage. Fully equipped with one bedroom with a queen-size bed, a loft area with two single beds, a bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette. Fireplace inside and hot tub and braai on the patio. Guest will enjoy the peace and quiet, the trees and being close to nature. Because we are situated outside of the center of town it is a very quiet and relaxing space.

Hill Cottage

Nestled against the Witzenberg mountains just 9km outside the charming town of Tulbagh, is a cozy farm cottage called Hill Cottage. The farm offers a peaceful retreat where you can swim in the dam, hike amongst the proteas and enjoy the nature of the Cape. Only 90mins from Cape Town, it makes for the perfect romantic getaway to enjoy the natural beauty of one of the top rated small towns in South Africa!

As a surfing destination, our fully equipped cottage is perfect for a quick lock up and go or a small family chill out holiday. It offers everything you need for a coastal getaway, from a hot outside shower to a fire pit with a deck area and mountain views. The cottage is 10 min walk to the famous Elands Bay surf break and one hour drive from the renowned Cederberg mountain rock climbing spots.
