The Bothy is stone built, situated by the farm barns and parking outside. The ground floor rooms overlook the gardens of Wilcote Manor. The Hen Hut is a warm, self contained annex in the grounds of Casio Cottage on the outskirts of Shilton, a quintessential English village. The medieval town of Burford is within walking distance. Shilton surrounds the Shil Brook and pond. It is mentioned in a document from 1205 as a small farming village. Later, it became a thriving farming community. The local pub, the Rose and Crown dates from the 1600s. The village was featured in the popular television series, Downton Abbey.

The Crofts Studio is very "bijou"...a lovely small but perfectly formed annexe, with its own entrance and off street parking. We have a standard double bed, very comfortable for a solo traveller and cosy for a couple... . Our place is complete with en-suite shower room (with washing machine and dryer) and a compact kitchenette area with breakfast bar with two stools…. We are very central with close transport links and the A40 is on the doorstep to explore Oxfordshire, Cotswolds and beyond.
