This unique cottage duplex is our home base for hiking, skiing, and paddling, and we're happy to share it with you! Tucked away on the edge of the village of North Woodstock, our modest retreat is a stones throw from all the excitement the region has to offer. Take a short walk to the nearest swimming hole, explore the National Forest, and be back in time to enjoy dinner on the back deck!

The Doll House has everything you’ll need at under 700 square feet. This fully-outfitted, historic, full-house rental has a complete kitchen, living room, two-bedrooms, bath, back sitting room, front farmer's porch and beautiful gardens and sitting areas. Our home is situated in a quiet condo association, perfect for a couples getaway or your family to enjoy. There is room for 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, large living room, dining table and full kitchen. Enjoy the many hiking trails, spend a lazy day on the river, eat at one of the many local restaurants and take advantage of so many other close by activities!!!

Taproot Cottage is cozy, quiet, comfortable and nestled in the beautiful White Mountain foothills of Brownfield, ME. Just one mile from the Stone Mountain Arts Center, 30 minutes to North Conway, NH, and easy access to hiking trails, mountain vistas, and the Lakes Region of western Maine. It offers a well-equipped kitchen/dining/ living room combination, full bath, a relaxing sunroom with full-sized futon for additional sleeping, and a loft bedroom with a queen bed.

The Cottage is the perfect get away spot for private time together. There is a designated work space upstairs with windows for fresh air, great WiFi, space to move, comfortable and peaceful. Picturesque, close to hiking trails or just lying in the grass listening to the brook, enjoying a snooze in the sun. Opportunities for rock climbing, hiking, bird watching with guides are available thru a variety of sources. Truly a place to work, rest, and play.

Enjoy nearby activities like hiking, leaf peeping, skiing, and visiting scenic towns, local vineyards and breweries — or simply relaxing in a beautiful lakefront setting!

20ft from the Water with Mountain View!

This cozy cottage sits 20 ft from Pequawket Pond. We are the only cottage in this association that has 2 floors and directly on the pond. It has a spiral staircase that leads downstairs to the bedroom downstairs with walk out access. We are located within minutes to the Mount Washington Valley and all the amenities the valley has to offer. Ski resorts galore! We also have a kayak and 2 paddle boards available for our guests to use!
