THIS IS NOT A CONVENTIONAL COOKING CLASS: of course you'll learn a lot about pasta but you'll be welcomed into my family like old friends for a traditional Italian meal, cooking all together while sharing our different stories. Ravioli, spaghetti, tagliatelle or other typical kinds of pasta will be on the menu: the masterpiece of Italian cooking history. And, why not, we'll also prepare our "secret" tiramisù with chocolate. You will spend time in the vineyard, and you will hear the stories about our family business, the process from grapes to wines, and the vine-growing tradition in the Ossola valley. You will taste three different wines from our winery, pairing with some products directly from the local farmers. Coming to our winery, you will have a chance to enjoy the wine, have a good time with your family and friends with the beautiful view of the Alps and see Domodossola from above. Besides, don't hesitate to bring your dog with you to the tasting!

Welcome to my hands-on experience. I truly believe that everybody can prepare excellent pizzas at home. Therefore, everyone will have fun kneading, by hand, their pizza dough. The purpose is to learn to make pizza without professional equipment, so we will bake our pizzas in a kitchen oven. I will give you all the tips to bake a pizza, crafted with your own hands, that you will want to share with your family, friends, and everyone around you. You will learn how to knead the dough and handle the fermentation. I will tell you how to choose, prepare, and use the toppings for your pizza. Also, I will show you the baking strategy to obtain a pizza that is crispy outside and very airy inside. After the class, I will mail the step-by-step recipe to you. Finally, we will eat pizza and drink some complimentary wine to celebrate life as Italians do. Other things to note Sorry, we can't provide gluten-free or vegan food. Nous commencerons votre voyage gastronomique dans le quartier de Brera, l'un des quartiers les plus branchés de Milan. Nous traverserons les rues étroites et intimes de ce quartier hystorique et artistique. Nous ferons une visite de la cour de Pinacoteca di Brera (galerie des beaux-arts) où je vous parlerai de vrais secrets du lieu et d'une curiosité intéressante à propos de la belle bibliothèque Braidense datée de 1770. Après cela, lentement nous verrons quelques autres belles vieilles églises en chemin. Après cette promenade chaleureuse, vous serez prêt à goûter des spécialités locales telles que la focaccia, la pizza, le jambon et le fromage avec un verre de vin… et retrouvez également leur histoire! Et après les collations salées ... bien sûr que oui, un grand gelato italiano - probablement le meilleur que vous ayez jamais eu! Et si vous n'êtes pas rassasié, un autre couple de douceurs sucrées! Tout cela à travers une promenade de 3h où vous pouvez me demander presque toutes sortes d'informations sur la cuisine italienne! Ci troveremo davanti alla Chiesa di Argegno per poi imbarcarci dal pontile privato. Ospiteremo un massimo di 10 partecipanti, per cui se non trovi posto direttamente contattaci. Lentamente inizieremo a navigheremo Verso l' isola Comacina, passando i villaggi di Colonno e Sala Comacina, ci fermeremo nel canale dell' Isola, davanti al Villaggio di Ossuccio. Durante il Boat Party con musica e open bar vi offriremo ottimo Prosecco, avremo a disposizione anche soft drink e acqua. Ascolteremo musica e balleremo, si potrà nuotare e avere momenti di piacevole convivialità tipica italiana. Prima del rientro passeremo davanti a Villa Balbianello, Villa Cassinella e Villa Balbiano, per poi fare rientro ad Argegno. Questa esperienza è dedicata a persone che hanno voglia di stare insieme e divertirsi in serenità e buon umore, senza nessun tipo di eccesso.

This fantastic circular route delivers it all: hidden villages, rustic charm, spectacular lake views, quiet mountain roads to cycle, and a stop on Lake Lugano. Start from the heart of a small Renaissance hamlet with traditional cobbled streets and historic stone houses. Follow the quiet cycle path that was originally the old railway line connecting Lake Como to Lake Lugano. Pass the charming Lake Piano nature reserve; hidden Romanesque churches and tiny villages before arriving directly on the beach of Lake Lugano with expansive views across the water. Explore the old centre of Porlezza-the perfect spot for an ice-cream or aperitivo before starting the climb into the mountains. Ride a section of original medieval road and weave through quaint village squares untouched by tourism. Finish with a panoramic downhill ride with views across Lake Como. This experience showcases the beautifully diverse scenery of the area and shares fun anecdotes of real people's lives. DIFFICULTY: Expect an active, mini adventure of 28km with uphills, downhills, narrow village roads and some gravel sections. Athleticism, confidence and understanding of a geared bicycle are required. An e-bike is a normal bicycle including battery assistance for uphills. OPTIONAL: Pick up from Menaggio ferry station paid on-site and requested in advance. The ferry connects to Bellagio, Varenna and Como among others.

Mosaic is one of the oldest decorative forms present in Italy. During the workshop, I will show and explain various types of materials (like marble and vitreous tiles), the tools normally used by mosaic artist (hammer, pliers, pincers...) and different techniques. You will see examples of different types of mosaic (Roman mosaic, classic and modern) and you will learn about the evolution of the mosaic art, the different styles and trends. You will learn to cut the tiles with pincers, how to study and prepare the subject and you'll create a piece of mosaic to bring at your home.

Vieni a conoscere il più simpatico degli animali: l'ALPACA, i suoi comportamenti, le sue abitudini, il modo corretto di avvicinarti al branco. Dopo una piccola parte di accoglienza con i nostri 17 alpaca si parte poi con una passeggiata facile con alpaca a guinzaglio di circa 1h30 nei dintorni dell'allevamento tra natura, panorami sulla valle centrale, villaggi tipici e resti medievali. Il percorso si snoda tra sentieri e stradine di montagna, percorriamo anche un tratto della via francigena.

Navigare in silenzio sulle tranquille acque del lago Maggiore, circondato solo dall'acqua e dai colori del cielo. Pagaiare ed esplorare insieme insenature e tratti di costa unici che circondano la nostra meta: l'eremo di Santa Caterina del Sasso. Si tratta di un eremo risalente al XII secolo piuttosto suggestivo sia per il panorama circostante, sia per la costruzione che sembra quasi incastrata nella roccia della montagna che lo ospita. La canoa canadese è uno sport alla portata di tutti; molto meno conosciuta del kayak, questa tipologia di imbarcazione è poco nota in Italia. Però grazie alla sua forma aperta, lo scafo largo e la prua e la poppa leggermente rialzate è una delle soluzioni migliori per spostarsi sull’acqua. Altre cose da tenere a mente. Avremo a disposizione per ogni ospite una borsa waterproof dove inserire i nostri oggetti e tenerli riparati da possibili schizzi d'acqua.

You will finally end your tour where it started and will leave with an unforgettable memory ! We will meet in front of the church of Argegno, next to it the access that leads directly to the private dock where the boat is located. As soon as we get on the boat, I will make a quick description of the boat and the safety equipment and then, will happily start the experience. The boat is a proper boat, takes the origins from a traditional and classic boat, which was born from Positano in the Sorrento Peninsula. Its humble sea origins and wood’s sparkle, with which it was created, are an irresistible attraction for lovers of boat tours. Visiting Lake Como on board of a typical Mediterranean boat definitely gives to your tour a touch of authenticity and style.
