Don't miss this hike! Take a camera! It is approximately 6 miles from the Sedona Zen cottage. Start by 8:30 a.m. in the summer months as the hike has a lot of sun. The hike is moderate in difficulty with a few areas that are not safe for unstable hikers.

They do not take reservations. HOWEVER, the restaurant is only a 10-12 minute (5 miles) drive from the Sedona Zen Cottage so you can put your name in and then head back to the house to get ready. There are also great shops to explore near the restaurant. I suggest you arrive at the restaurant around 4:45 PM to get your name in when they open at 5 PM. You will still wait in line to put your name in. However, it is well worth it. If you do not mind a late dinner, you can avoid the long wait by arriving a little after 8:30 PM. You may have to wait but it will be substantially less time (usually 20 minutes depending on the season).

Leave the house before 9:30 AM to get through the town more easily. Traffic is pretty heavy from 9:30 AM to 5 PM on most days.
