Wallingford is an ancient town in Oxfordshire besieged by Vikings, a place worth visiting. Lots of cafes and shops, lovely craft shops and privately owned boutiques. A walk by the river is recommended.

Oxford is called the ‘city of spires’ the churches are worth seeing and of course, along with Cambridge, is famous for its universities and the Oxford / Cambridge boat race Henley is also a town worth seeing, famous for the Regatta held each year in June. The town is then awash (excuse the pun) with crews, race goers in their blazers and hats and posh frocks!!!! Wonderful!!!

Reading is an ancient grown up round the Abbey ruins. The Abbey was dissolved in Henry 8th period, looted of its treasures, partially destroyed and the monks either murdered or banished! A sad time for Reading. Now you can stroll round the ruins and walk through the famous gardens with our equally famous lion? He is famous because the sculptor has legs wrong? Go along and spot the mistake? Lots of shops and coffee places to stop and rest.
