This is a library and cultural centre. It's always worth checking what's on, they have photography exhibitions, concerts and sometimes even convert the courtyard into a bar/restaurant.

This is a beautiful park that fills up around sunset as you have a perfect view of the setting sun. The tomb is free to visit and worth waiting if the queue isn't too long.

You can walk all the way along the river to the Matadero (a cultural centre) near Metro Legazpi. The point marked on the map is wrong - best to enter from near Principe Pio.

This is the most beautiful and least known park in Madrid. It's at the back of the palace and you have to walk all the way around to get in. Full of different species of trees and peacocks.
