Chez Zee is well known to locals all over Austin. It is great, quality food and very popular. It is best to call ahead for a reservation no matter what time of day. They have a great weekend brunch with fantastic mimosas! One of our favorite restaurants in all of Austin.

One of our favorite new restaurants. It's on the trendy side but we love it! Call ahead to see if you can get reservations or if they are busy, you can always go next door to Tacos and Tequila.

Great place to go if you need something any time of the day. They are open 24 hours a day! You can get breakfast or lunch at any time of the day so always a good choice for those picky eaters. There are several locations but this is the closest to us.

Great place on the lake! Their food is amazing plus you can sit outside and see Lake Austin. Great place to hang out for just drinks and appetizers or sit down and have a full meal. Great for all kinds of groups. You can rent boats right down the street if you call ahead.

Great BBQ! This location is on the lake and about 5 minutes from our house. It has some of the best BBQ in Austin and if you sit outside, you will be sitting out on the lake! There is another location off of 2244 if you would like to see the hill country. It also has great views and you can get more veggie options there (like a salad).

Parks & Nature
You can take an easy stroll or take the entire hiking trail for more of an adventure. This has the best views in all of Austin and is a must see! Even though we live here we still go every now and then.

There are several entrances to the Barton Creek Greenbelt. It is a great place to go for a hike, some areas to get wet and swim and just enjoy nature. Be sure to check out the different areas depending on the ages of the hikers. Some may not be appropriate for certain age groups.
