Actually located in Covert Park, Mount Bonnell is one of the highest points in Austin at 781 feet!

Great sunset view overlooking the Colorado River, and can see the downtown skyline to the left! Hiking trails as well, or to just get into nature for a moment.

The highest point in Austin. An amazing view of the city and Lake Austin. Great short pilgrimage. Caution: many steps to the top of the park to see the view.
