Promenade sur les fortifications

To start, we will meet and begin the walk at the stairs of the Campeche's Catedral We will walk it all over the down town while I talk about it's history and importance for the City. Since there are at least 7 Strongholds or "Baluartes", we will walk, clockwise, around the city's centre to know each of them. In the noon we will be able to stop for lunch and we may eat some traditional dish of this region. Once finished the "Baluartes" walk, at the afternoon, we are going to watch the Campeche's City's famous sunset. No words can describe it. Campeche is a place where the old colonial buildings and the afternoon light match very well for excellent pictures. No need to be a pro if you want great photos.

Visite historique à pied de la ville coloniale de Mérida

We'll walk in Merida's downtown (between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group) to know a little bit of Yucatan's histroy, where we'll stop to talk about the events that took place in the different historical points included in the tour. I'll happily do my best to answer all your questions concerning to the subject of the tour or any other that you may have. We'll join the downtown's life, so be prepared to walk and enjoy. ¡Bienvenidos a San Francisco de Campeche, Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad! Nuestra aventura inicia en el Parque Principal de la ciudad de San Francisco de Campeche y desde ahí caminaremos por las principales calles del Centro Histórico, aprendiendo datos interesantes sobre la cultura campechana. Visitaremos los siguientes lugares: Casa No. 6, Catedral de Campeche, Iglesia de San Francisquito, Baluarte de San Carlos, Baluarte de la Soledad, Tukulná, Puerta de Tierra e Iglesia de San Román. Como actividad opcional, podríamos disfrutar de una bebida en la calle 59. El tiempo se irá muy rápido mientras platicamos historias de los mayas, los piratas y del campechano contemporáneo. Pero además tengo muy claro que si estás tomando este tour, es porque buscas una experiencia en la que más allá de datos, te gustaría conocer cómo es la vida cotidiana campechana real. Es mi objetivo compartirte mis vivencias y experiencias que tenido como ciudadano de Campeche. Todas las preguntas que tengas sobre nuestra cultura, sociedad, política o cualquier otra cosa serán bienvenidas. ¡La idea es que te lleves un panorama general de cómo se vive en esta linda tierra mía!
