This vantage point is within walking distance from our Pocket-cottages. So calm and relaxing place along the Kimola nature trail. There is also the cave, camp fire possibility and few places from where to hop in to the clear watery forest pond. Refreshing! Warmly recommended.

This place is a little animal farm near to our own village Vuolenkoski. 10 minutes from the Pocket cottages. There is for example ostriches and llamas, also those conventional animal friends. Cafe and shop where they sell local products and excellent farm meat and sausages. Open only in the summer time.

Kimola canal flows almost at the back yard of Pocket cottages. A unique 70-meter-long rock tunnel and a twelve-meter dam. Maybe you want to take a little walk and watch the boats diving into the tunnel.
