Vuolenkoski is a fun, eccentric little village 12 km from our villa and this is their summer market offering a variety of local produce. Soak in the atmosphere, eat some local delicacies like muurinpohjalettu-crepes with strawberries & local jam and support the local kindergarten by buying coffee with a pastry at the beach-front café.

Summer market of the village Vuolenkoski. Next to the great Rantamesta restaurant. 5 min from the Pocket cottages. Local handicrafts, vegetables, berries, gewgaws, souvenirs, second hand sellers... Sweet cafe for the benefit of the village and great lake view. Genuine, rural feelings and people! Open only summer Saturdays 10-12 am.

Kesätorille saapuu lauantaisin 10-12 välillä 1500-2000 ihmistä. Kylän tienvarret ja parkkimonttu täyttyvät autoista ja laiturit vierailijoiden veneistä. Elintarvikkeita, huikeita käsitöitä, marjoja, kasveja ja kukkia, kotikirppiksia ja paljon kaikkea muuta! Tämä on pakko nähdä ja kokea jos Vuolenkoskella vierailee kesäviikonloppuna!
