Directly across the street! Buddhist Zen temple and park. Very welcoming of all people from all backgrounds and faiths. Great for an outdoor walk, meditation, etc. See their calendar for events to get involved: www.dharma-rain.org

You can walk up into the community garden spaces to see the chickens, or run laps around the young orchard and along the shaded trail in the gully. The Zen monks are always friendly. :) [Annoyingly, the map keep pegging them at their old location instead of the new monastery just north of us--between NE Siskiyou and Knott, east of 82nd Ave.]
