Very long beach. Divided between swimming and windsurfing. Large parking lot. Shell-filled sand. Considered by some to offer the best windsurfing on the Cape in the spring, summer and fall. The steady breezes, warm waters and consistent waves off Nantucket Sound draw windsurfers from all over. A beach house at the end of the lot provides restrooms, showers and a tasty snack bar. This is a large beach with plenty of parking space to accommodate visitors.

Yes, another nearby beach, now the 4th closest beach, just 6 min. drive away. Public beach but free with the provided resident pass.

Best for families with younger kids. No seaweed, calm water and a bath house and food stand. GREAT VIEW of sailboats in harbor. My favorite!

One of the top windsurfing spots in the Northeast! Walk around the semi-island to see all the ferries and boats go far out into Nantucket Sound. Gorgeous views.
