Alaska Railroad offers 1/2 and full day trips and tours and packages that include glacier cruises, Denali Park tours, rafting, scenic flights, Jet boat tours, kayaking, fishing etc.

The Alaska Railroad can take you north to Denali National Park and beyond to Fairbanks. It's a nice relaxing way to travel.

The most scenic train ride is from Anchorage to Seward which is a very popular destination. There is a shorter train loop as well that is very scenic.
