This is our local park, with a trail head that will take you all the way to downtown Fort Worth alongside the Trinity River. Follow the start of the trail and you will find our residential fishing pond 2 minutes into your walk. You can actually access it within walking distance - take a left on Salado Trl (away from Trinity Blvd), walk 4 blocks and take a right at the stop sign on Sabinas trail - literally 1000s of acres of woodland and Texas wildlife to explore right on your doorstep! It is wild tho so be prepared for live encounters - snakes, wild pigs, coyote and even one stray alligator have been spotted on this part of the trails - and that was just by me and my son on our many adventures!
