This beach is nice because it is close to a park and shade spots. There is also a Crepe shop located right on the beach.

10 minutes walk from they house, you will enjoy Lake Michigan beach like no other place in the city. Bring your blanket and a sun umbrella and cool off along the sandy beaches. Almost a mile of beachfront, great for walking along the sandy beach, features a lighthouse with a great view of Chicago's downtown, Ropa Cabana (Restaurant at Greenleaf Ave beach serving drinks and snacks), grassy parks with outdoor gym, benches, murals, and walking paths.

Awesome beach, not overcrowded and perfectly adequate for swimming, chilling and thinking. The park behind the beach is good for jogging and work out.
