Excellent Kurdish restaurant very close to the Castle. A back door takes you onto a terrace above Victoria Street, which itself is a tourist attraction.

Delicious range of Middle Eastern food. You can eat indoors, or if the weather's nice I highly recommend asking to sit on the terrace outside. You'll have great views of Edinburgh.
