Known as the pioneer of the New Orlean's craft cocktail movement, Cure has maintained its innovative edge since it opened its doors in 2009. On the menu is an excellent version of NOLA's classic Sazerac as well other creative takes on traditional drinks. As with all great cocktail bars, there is always the opportunity to confide in the bartender, who can whip you up something to your liking. For those feeling snackish, there's a menu of bar snacks, cheese and charcuterie, and the like.

Cure was the 2018 winner of James Beard Award for Outstanding Cocktail Program..and is definitely a must visit if you're into cocktails. There's also a location at the new airport!

Cocktails? Don’t call the guys and gals working there bartenders; call them mixologists. Its probably a more accurate description, anyways. Tell them your mood and your palate, and they will whip you up a special cocktail. In the evenings, sometimes they can require long pants...lame.
