The small fishing town of Morro Bay is just a 30 minute drive from the Airbnb. This is a great place to have fish and chips at The Hofbrau, kayak, and enjoy the sea life. Sea otters, seals, and coastal birds call Morro Bay home. Morro Bay is also known for its great waves for surfing and wakeboarding. The “strand” or Main Street has great shopping and a beautiful view of THE ROCK. It is typically colder and windier here than in Grover Beach. Remember to bring a jacket!

Morro Bay Embarcardero is a quirky fun touristy place to peruse. The rock is amazing and is one of the 7 Sisters-famous peaks that dot the central coast. You will usually find sea otters near it and great surfing as well. You can also kayak or stand up paddle board in the Bay.

This a great open sandy beach perfect for kids, surfing, kite sailing etc. It can be windy so be prepared.
