The lighthouse is part of the local history--and it's tiny!--for a lighthouse. It's a nice walk along the waterfront, down the promenade to Tydings Park. Havre de Grace as a whole is a favorite haunt for antique shopping and seafood restaurants.
half-hour away in downtown Havre de Grace, man-made Boardwalk....a beautiful place to walk along the water
The Concord Point Lighthouse was built in 1827 where the Susquehanna River meets the tidal flow of the Chesapeake Bay. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in continuous operation on the East Coast. Fully restored, the Lighthouse and Keeper’s House are open to the public on weekends from April to October.
