Good selection of ales in a quiet street with nice local drinkers

Classic cosy British pub, with a wonderful menu, and popular with locals. Probably our favourite local in winter, with its open fire. Has outdoor garden with tables, with a gate that opens to a hidden, community orchard alonside the Misbourne River.

This pub is the most charming, evocative and authentic ones I have been in. It is set in a tiny area of small streets and low buildings, and has an outdoor area. Don't expect any frills - although they have delicious olives!
