Just outside the fishing village of Duncannon, Duncannon Beach is a mile-long golden strand with spectacular views. On a clear day, you might even see out to Hook Head and the Waterford coast. The beach plays host to the annual Sand Sculpting Festival where the creative masterpieces are truly out of this world, and Duncannon Fort is just a short stroll away. Stunning beach - family and children friendly with changing rooms. Two very nice pubs close by with excellent food and outdoor seating area to enjoy beach

Great beach to visit for a walk & stop over before heading to the Local Pub in Dunbrody House for casual food or else try Roches Bar & Restaurant which also does superb pub grub & welcomes families.

Duncannon Beach is a designated bathing area of approximately a mile long. There are great views from the beach of Hook Head and, across the river, the Waterford coastline. Just a short stroll from the beach is Duncannon Fort. There is parking at the water's edge with reserved disabled parking available too. There are also male and female toilets open all year round.
