Excellent fish and chips and local beer, just 5 minutes away at Newhaven Pier.

The best fish and chips in Edinburgh and the prices are reasonable. This was recently raved about on 'The Most Remarkable Places to Eat.' it's right down by Newhaven Pier so there are lovely views and walks. It's only about a 10 minute walk from my flat.

There are great but expensive seafood restaurants in central Edinburgh, but for good value and top quality I recommend venturing out of the city centre to Newhaven pier. If you don't fancy travelling, they do home delivery
