This is one of the 9 piers in Xochimilco, where tourists can hire a colorful gondola-like boats called “trajineras” and sail around the 170 km. of canal-chinampa system.

Xochimilco preserves one of 5 historic lakes in the city. This ancient village was a home of diferent prehispanic groups and keeps a lot of ancestral traditions. Nowadays is a touristic place where you can get a ride in a tipical boat called "trajinera", drink and eat something while the Mariachi sing for you.
