This canal home now houses a pipe collection. It started in 1969 with an excavation along Keizersgracht where a lot of cafe waste was found, including clay pipes. This find sparked the interest of the amateur archeologist Don Duco. The museum now houses more than 30.000 objects from five continents. Downstairs is a shop, the museum is located in the seventeenth-century townhouse, with a beautiful interior and period furniture.
