This place is a peaceful place, Thai - Chinese mixed architecture. There is The Grand Buddha statue in an elegance Vihara of the temple. There is the largest bell in Thailand. The waterfront pavilion in front of the temple offers a wonderful view along the river.

The nearby Wat Arun is much more famous and acts as a magnet, drawing the crowds away from some of the other nearby Thonburi attractions and temples.
