Tabon caves is a complex of 215 known caves, of which 29 have been explored and 7 are open to the public. The Tabon Man - one of the oldest human bones in the Philippines was found here in 1962. This was declared a National Cultural Treasure in 2011. The place is not just historic but has amazing views of the West Philippine Sea and is only 78kms southwest (approx 1.5 hours drive) from Surya. Highly recommended to all adventure seekers! Schedule of Caving ●Tuesdays- 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM ●Thursdays- 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM ●Saturdays- 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM ●Sundays- 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM Please message them on their social media page: National Museum of the Philippines - Tabon Cave Complex to reserve your spot. Once you are in Quezon, drop by the local tourism office to pay the environmental fee. You can then head to the Tabon cave complex for the tour and enjoy their museum.
