Concealed beneath the delicatessen a speakeasy! great for a low key night with great wine, classic cocktails and premium gin and whiskey

If French is your flavour (like me) then a must is Delicatessen at 12 Waymouth Street a relaxed and fabulous petit French bistro. (Ps Don’t miss the secret underground bar.) Or drop in and say bonjour to chef Clement Labaere at Maison Clement at the Adelaide Central Mark - open for lunch daily (except Sunday). While in Waymouth Street you might like to check out one of my favourite bars, Proof at 9 Anster Street or head up to the rooftop at the Gallery across the road.

Food is wonderful. Warm, friendly, homely, and cozy. Delicious starters, entrees mains, and desserts, what a great chef! Service is fast and attentive from very friendly staff. The quality of the meals is great, with a really broad range of dishes to choose from and the portion sizes are very generous so overall a good value and high quality meal out. Clean and cozy decor, nice vibes overall. Certainly worth trying.
